These delivery drivers need a wake up call as to how to do their job. In the time we spend arguing they could have made my delivery twice.
And yes, I get in arguments with these lazy drivers. However this service is a total crapshoot as to whether they will do the delivering or make you do it instead. I use the service because atleast half of the time there is no issue. Walmart needs to keep their employees in check instead of letting just whoever show up and consequently failing to fulfill the labor position of grocery delivery person. So if you are disabled like me, you are in for some heavy lifting up the stairs. These drivers will say anything to get you to go downstairs and get YOU to deliver your own groceries regardless of however far away from your front door that might be. Or its a senior citizen with limited arm strength. A lot of drivers bring their children along to do the lifting and carrying.

Your delivery driver will be either preteen children or little old ladies that actually deliver the groceries.The person that is supposed to deliver the groceries is not necessarily the person that does the work. But about one in every 5 to 10 deliveries gets really messed up, order not delivered and no communication, delivered to some other address and not knowing where, or the wrong order sent to me and my order sent to someone else. When their deliveries are done correctly, it's fine.
So I will probably have to stay home all or most of tomorrow too, waiting for an order that might or might not come. Now after waiting at home all afternoon for this delivery, it might be delivered tomorrow or it might not be. She did send me a $25 off coupon on another order. I told her that I had been encouraged to call them to register a complaint about the poor customer service and communication by my local store. I told her that I wasn't able to cancel the order online and that since the entire dept had left the store by at the latest 5 PM, I couldn't get express delivery anyway. She suggested that I cancel the order and reorder as express delivery, paying $10 which would not be refunded. But she had no idea what their plans were. So I called the 1-800 number and the person there just repeated what the online chat rep told me about 2 hours earlier, that they ruined my order. But she highly recommended that I call the 1-800 number to register a complaint because the team all left to go home without letting me know when or if they planned to deliver the order. She said that everyone in the pickup and delivery dept had gone home, and she had no way to find out what they were doing with my order. I finally called again and pressed 0 to reach the store operator. I tried again, and the same thing happened. The phone just rang for several minutes and then cut me off. So I tried calling the local store to talk with a person in their pickup and delivery depth. I wanted to cancel it and reorder for express delivery but have the $10 fee waived since the order was by then about 3-4 hours late. Neither he nor I were able to cancel the order online either. He was not able to intervene with the store to find out when the items would be delivered. We chatted online for over an hour only to find out there was nothing he could do except to tell me that my order contents had gotten spoiled in someone's car, so they were returned to the store by the driver. When 2 hours came and went, I went to the help options about my order, and it took me to an online chat. Walmart had sent me an email that the order was delayed but it would be delivered in less than 2 hours. I spent 2 hours today between an online chat with a Walmart rep and trying to call the store and the 1-800 number about my order that was not delivered.
